When you're in the thick of pregnancy, 9 months can seem like an eternity. There’s so much anticipation for this little love yet there's a waiting game at every corner. Waiting to announce, waiting between scans, waiting for the nursery furniture to arrive, waiting the millions of years that seem to be the third trimester. Ready for your stress-free, pampered photography experience? Submit your inquiry to get things started. I'll walk you through the MMP Experience and you'll choose the collection that suits your needs best. I'll also introduce you to your artwork options so you can start dreaming up how your images will be displayed in your home.
Consultation & Booking
Let me take care of all the planning. I'll use your preferences to curate wardrobe selections for the whole family. No need to spend hours online shopping for the perfect dress. Mamas and children get to enjoy borrowing dresses and outfits directly from my client closet. I'll also provide location options so that you don't have to worry about a thing.
I'll bring your wardrobe selections and make sure everyone is feeling their absolute best. From there, we will spend our time together having fun and forgetting that there's even a camera in the room. Don't worry, I'll be sure to capture those portraits with everyone looking, but mostly I will be providing prompts and gentle posing guidance that will elicit sweet and joyful interactions between your whole family.
After your session, I'll begin hand editing your images with my signature soft and bright aesthetic. I love sending my clients a preview early on in this process because I know you're so excited to see how they turned out! Your full gallery will be ready approximately 2-3 weeks after your session. You will receive a full digital gallery of your images to use as you please. My clients love to share them with their friends and family the most.

Hair & Makeup
Get excited, it's session day! Grab your morning cup of coffee (or tea, if you're like me) and relax. Take a few moments to yourself to do your hair and makeup while dad watches the kids... or better yet, have one of my favorite HMU artists come do it for you! Just bring the kids to the session with a clean face and we'll slip them into their outfits onsite.
Artwork Selections
The final piece of the puzzle is getting your images ready to display in your home. We all know this can be an overwhelming task which is why I will take care of it for you. I'll design your heirloom album, show you what your gallery wall will look like in the living room, and put together your 4x6 prints into a proof box for display on the coffee table. I'll even design custom birth announcements after your newborn session so you can quickly get those sent out to your loved ones.
When time keeps moving, your photos will last forever.

This may seem very early, but it's the safest way to ensure you reserve your session on my calendar, and it also allows you to schedule a pregnancy announcement session! I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month so that I'm able to provide my clients with a seamless experience and flexible scheduling once baby arrives. With that said, babies arrive on their own schedule so sometimes I have last minute openings available. No matter what stage of pregnancy (or post-partum) you're at, it doesn't hurt to reach out and see if I can fit you in. I'd love to serve you!

Most mamas prefer scheduling their maternity session in the 28-34 week range, and I personally think 30-32 weeks is the sweet spot. This is when your bump is showing off and you're still feeling like getting glammed up for your session. Of course each person is different and circumstances like carrying multiples or being high risk for an early delivery may alter your timeframe. Just let me know during your inquiry and we'll be sure to schedule at the perfect time for you!

Family sessions are scheduled year round either in studio or at one of my favorite outdoor locations. Whether your children are toddlers, elementary school-aged, or too-cool-for-photos teenagers, I'll be sure to make sure everyone has a fun experience - even when I ask them to hug their siblings! Families can book a portrait session that entails personalized planning, client wardrobe, artwork credit, and my other full-service benefits. I also offer petite sessions twice a year for families who just need a quick portrait update. Be sure to sign up for my newsletter to be notified.

Ha! But really, we all know there's no catastrophe quite like a toddler who's ready for their nap. Generally, studio sessions and newborn sessions are scheduled for 11am to allow for the best natural light of the day and outdoor sessions are scheduled about 2 hours before sunset to get that soft, pretty evening light. With that said, please let me know if your little ones would benefit from altering that schedule a bit. I'm happy to accommodate if that means setting us up for a more successful time together.
