Children’s Santa Photos
Children’s Wardrobe Recommendations
Studio Photography | Charlotte, NC
Shhh… everyone listen! Can you hear it? The jingles? It must be Santa’s sleigh getting polished up for his big trip around the world on Christmas Eve. And believe it or not, it’s just around the corner! The elves are busy in the workshop building toys and I’m sure your children are excited to craft their Christmas Wish List in hopes that Santa will leave some goodies under the tree. What better way to help them experience the magic of Santa’s spirit than to let them meet him – in person – and tell him their Christmas wishes in person this season!

A Magical Santa Photo Experience
It’s a right of passage for children to have their photo taken with Santa. But let’s be real for minute – those polaroid images of you as a kid with Mall Santa are super cringeworthy, right? A disheveled Santa with a fake beard. A cheesy North Pole backdrop and fake snow tufted out of cotton. A crying toddler with red eyes and neon colored sweat suit. I know that you know exactly what I’m talking about, and it isn’t pretty!
That’s why I am so excited to welcome your children into the studio for the 2021 Santa Sessions meet and greet event! Our very own Santa Stephen is eager to visit with each and every one of the kiddos to share North Pole secrets, take Christmas list requests, and spread a lot of holiday cheer! He will have toys and books at the ready to help calm any jitterbugs and is an excellent listener. We’ll be capturing beautiful images of your children’s interactions with Santa with a classic, timeless set design. The last piece of the puzzle is choosing what your kiddos should wear.
Choosing the Best Attire for Santa Photos
That’s where this blog post comes in! I’ve scoured the internet for this season’s best Christmas PJ’s and Holiday Attire so all you have to do is click the link and place it in your shopping cart! These wardrobe recommendations take into account the small details that make a big difference in camera – Color, Texture, and Prints. To get that classic, timeless look that you’ll be excited to display for years to come, I’ve selected:
- Natural/muted color tones. A pop of red is fun too!
- Soft textures with details like lace or cable knit weaves.
- Subtle/small print designs that are not too busy to the eye.
Remember the goal is for your children’s reaction to Santa to be the focal point of these images. We don’t want the outfit to compete for attention instead. Check out my favorites for the 2021 season below!
