About The Andrews Farm Wedding Venue
The Andrews Farm has been in the Andrews family since the 1970s, and today, the third generation of Andrews tends to their beloved farm. Originally used for growing wheat, soybeans, corn, and cotton, the farm has hosted many momentous celebrations and occasions over the years. In the 1990s, the family discovered a rustic cabin built in the 1700s, and they lovingly restored it to use as a gathering place for the entire family. The idea of the farm becoming a place to gather caught on quickly, and the family made the decision to share the joys of the property with others. In 2020, The Andrews Farm opened its doors as a luxury event space, welcoming new families looking for a place to celebrate their own occasions and make meaningful memories.
Details of the Grounds
The Andrews Farm is a gorgeous outdoor venue with plenty of flexibility when it comes to ceremony and reception sites.
First, you can prepare for your wedding day in the Bridal Suite, a bright and open space with plenty of charm and photo ops. Tall bookshelves and cozy furnishings are perfect backdrops for “getting ready” photos, as is a comfortable bed that is great for bridal party shots with Champagne. Your partner and their party can get ready in the Groom’s Cabin, the rustic (but renovated) cabin on the property that is fully equipped to get ready and pass the time before your ceremony.
Speaking of ceremony, The Andrews Farm has several spots they use for romantic vow exchanges. The Garden runs along the side of the house and uses either a beautiful bay of windows or a grove of trees as your backdrop. You’ll be spread out on a lush green lawn and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The Steps are several tiered, grassy steps that make it easy for your guests to observe your ceremony, with another broad wall of windows behind you. You can also utilize the Porta Cache, a large wooden pergola structure that can be draped with fabric or flowers, overlooking a small grove of trees. Lastly, you can say “I do” in The Woods, an open area surrounded by towering pines, or at The Tree, where you will exchange vows beneath massive boughs and branches.
Reception Locations
For your reception, gather your guests (up to 150) in the Garden for an al fresco dinner party, where you can dine under the stars and strings of market lights. The Rocks is another option, with a gravelly surface and a location convenient to the main house. There is also a tent that can be put up in a field or by the pool that offers shade. It can also be customized with your unique wedding decor, including lighting.
Photography Opportunities
The stunning grounds of The Andrews Farm are perfect for lush, gorgeous garden pictures. We can wander their manicured gardens, meander in the woods, and stroll around the beautiful pool. The exterior of the main house also has some beautiful architectural features that make for striking photo backdrops. I promise you’ll have a wedding album full of sophisticated and timeless photos!
Wedding Details
While The Andrews Farm makes an absolutely elegant event, there are a few things you want to keep in mind. First, they do provide a list of recommended caterers. But while you can choose to bring in your own caterer, there will be an additional fee. You’re welcome to use your caterer’s alcohol services, too, whomever they may be!
Additionally, you’ll need to hire a wedding planner specifically from their vendor list. They want to make sure you have someone with experience managing outdoor weddings. So they ensure everything runs smoothly.
One last detail – the restrooms available onsite are port-a-potties. You can rent trailer restrooms for an additional fee, which you may want to consider. Especially if you are requesting your guests dress up for your wedding!
