Nestled onto 48 acres of private farmland right outside of Charlotte, Morning Glory Farms is a charming, rustic venue full of organic life. The farm began as an organic farmstead founded by a couple searching for a farm lifestyle, but it quickly became a beloved gathering place for family and friends.
Eventually, they decided to open their space to weddings, finding new inspiration to keep their fields and gardens flourishing. Today, Morning Glory Farms is a secluded venue perfect for an intimate outdoor wedding that is the perfect balance of rustic sophistication.
Details of the Grounds
One of the biggest draws of Morning Glory Farms (particularly according to former couples who hosted their own weddings there) is the epic bridal suite. While there are two “getting ready” spaces available, one for each side of the bridal party, the main suite is spacious, full of natural light, and even equipped with a kitchen to keep your party fueled. Both suites are located in the rustic, Tuscan-inspired farmhouse on the property.
When it comes time to exchange your vows, their beautiful ceremony space overlooks the property’s pond and expansive green fields. With space for up to 200 guests, you won’t lose the feeling of intimacy that is a sacred part of this venue. You and your guests will approach the ceremony space along a quaint stone path through rustic doors and an elegant butterfly garden. Eventually, you’ll arrive at a beautiful open space surrounded by towering trees, perfect for exchanging vows.
Your reception will occur under their classic white tent with elegant crystal chandeliers. There is plenty of room for a bar, a dance floor, and everything you need for your first shared meal as a married couple.
Photography Opportunities
Morning Glory Farms has many beautiful spaces on its property that are perfect for wedding photos. From garden paths to archways covered in vines, there are many ways to feature the farm’s simple yet elegant beauty. Some of your pictures may even feature the resident furry farm animals! We’ll take advantage of the Golden Hour glow as we wander through wooded trails and catch the sunset light bouncing off the pond’s still water. You’ll love every photo from your wedding at Morning Glory Farms.
Wedding Details
There is a lot of flexibility when hosting a wedding at Morning Glory Farms! You have the freedom to use all of your own vendors, including caterers and bartenders. Only beer, wine, and Champagne are allowed to be served, so if you have your heart set on a bourbon bar, this may not be the venue for your wedding.
Keep in mind, too, that they only book weddings from April through mid-November, so you’ll want to secure a date quickly, as weekend availability is limited!
