About The Brawley Estate Wedding Venue
Brawley Estates was founded by the Brawley family in the early 1900s when people ordered houses from catalogs! Purchased from Sears and Roebuck, the house was shipped by train and assembled one piece at a time upon arrival. They lovingly transformed the grounds into beautiful gardens and created a beautiful Southern estate.
Today, Brawley Estate’s owners have restored the home to its former glory and earned it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. They’ve put blood, sweat, and tears into transforming the estate into a beautiful event space where people can gather and celebrate.
Details of the Grounds
Brawley Estate has several beautiful spaces that can transform into your dream wedding.
With over 20 acres of outdoor space, their events team has identified five unique sites perfect for an outdoor ceremony (or cocktail hour or reception.) You can incorporate the front lawn, large oak trees, the Main House, a pergola, and magnolia trees into your ceremony.
For your reception, you can opt to use the Main House as an event space. Host an intimate celebration of up to 55 guests using the wrap-around porch, original hardwood floors, and beautiful Victorian architecture. This space also has access to two suites, perfect for getting ready with your wedding party, beautiful artwork, and unique statement furniture, which adds character and is great for pictures!
If you plan a larger wedding, the Grand Oak Pavilion is the way to go. An indoor space with high ceilings, statement chandeliers, and neutral decor, it’s a great place to celebrate the next chapter of your love story. With room for up to 250 seated guests, your wedding will be as memorable as beautiful. Add string lights, drapery, LED lighting, or an estate lounge set for an even more luxurious experience!

Brawley Estate’s gorgeous Southern gardens are a beautiful backdrop for timeless wedding photos. You and your partner will look like something from a fashion magazine with lush lawns, flourishing florals, and beautifully maintained landscaping. Features like brick walls, the elegant front porch, and white picket fencing beneath boughs of magnolia trees are perfect for pictures that capture all the romance and elegance of your wedding day.

The Brawley Estate events team dedicates itself to making your day stress-free! That’s why your event is completely customizable. You’ll be able to host a ceremony rehearsal, have help with set up and breakdown, and an estate manager onsite to ensure things are running smoothly.
Your wedding will also include tables, walnut Chiavari chairs, white ceremony chairs, and all china, glassware, and silverware. Their catering is handled exclusively by Charlotte catering company La-tea-da’s Catering, who will provide a customized and delicious menu that you and your guests will love.
