Once Upon a Time…
Charlotte Family Photographer | It’s only fitting that I follow up my last blog post of Talbot’s cake smash session by sharing images from her first birthday party! This little lady celebrated the big O-N-E surrounded by her adoring family and friends. Talbot’s mom is an elementary school principal and went ALL out designing the most beautiful party with Mr. McGregor’s Garden themed details throughout. Guests were greeted upon arrival by the birthday girl herself dressed in the most adorable overalls and cute bunny tail. She even had a brand new front top tooth to show off!
The Tale of Peter Rabbit…
After browsing the photo display of Miss T’s first year, guests followed the path through the pine trees and stepped into Mr. McGregor’s garden oasis beneath the tree canopy. Talbot and her friends enjoyed a fun afternoon playing in Peter’s Pond (aka the ball pit), The Potting Shed (to plant some flowers of course!), Peter’s Park (it’s not a party until you’re zipping down the slide!), and the smallest of the bunch even enjoyed some downtime in The Rabbit Hutch (a cozy playpen, al fresco style). The signature event was a special reading of “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” with all the children gathered around the rocking chair. Meanwhile, the adults relaxed with their favorite bubbly beverage and enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet fit for mature pallets and toddlers alike. Talbot’s mom thought of every last detail down to the Peter Rabbit embellished chicken salad, cake toppers, and napkins.
One Tablespoon of Chamomile Tea…
Talbot’s highlights of the afternoon were a toss up between lounging – most literally – in the ball pit and enjoying her cake! As we could anticipate from her cake smash session, Talbot left no cake crumbles behind. Lots of cheers and laughs were shared and it was clear just how much Talbot was loved. She is so lucky to be surrounded by her family and friends as she continues to grow for years to come. Hope you enjoy this glimpse into her special day!
